IN THE SHADOW OF DICTATORSHIP: CREATING THE MUSEUM OF SPANISH ABSTRACT ART

THROUGH JUNE 18

Highlights from the remarkable collection of the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español in Cuenca—most coming to the U.S. for the first time—tell the story of this pioneering artists’ museum and explore the rich panorama of abstract Spanish art under the Francoist regime.
This exhibition has been organized by the Meadows Museum and the Fundación Juan March is funded by a generous gift from The Meadows Foundation. Promotional support provided by the Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District.
