Here’s your chance to get a good start on the new year to improve your portrait painting skills. Gene Dillard, proprietor of Legacy Portrait Painters and Rail Station Studios is now offering individual portrait painting classes at Rail Station Studios in the Arts District in Downtown Plano. www.railstationstudios.com
Classes in portraiture are custom-designed to the skill level and special interest of each student. For this reason, the first session is provided at no cost. During this session (up to 2 hours) your skill levels and interests are revealed. And, an orientation to the class is provided.
• If you are new to portrait painting, fundamental processes are taught in easy-to-follow steps.
• If you are early in your portrait-painting journey, concepts are presented to build on where you are at this time.
• If you are an accomplished portrait painter, more advanced techniques and insights are offered to help you overcome obstacles and become the painter you want to be.
Class times can be arranged to suit your schedule. Each class is two hours in duration. These can be weekly or on a regular schedule or set to fit your schedule.
Rail Station Studios are outfitted to provide a very functional, comfortable creative environment. Live models may be incorporated into certain classes. All classes are taught using oils. Supply lists are available.

Classes are a two-hour minimum at $50 per hour. Discounts are available for commitments to multiple classes.
