The City of Frisco, TX seeks qualifications from artists to be considered for a Municipal Court public art opportunity.
The City will convert the previous Senior Center into the new Municipal Court and is seeking an artist to create a public art project that will hang from the ceiling in the lobby. Artists are encouraged to consider law, democracy, and the history of Frisco and/or Texas as themes. The artwork should welcome visitors to the space, provide the opportunity for quiet reflection, and reflect the significance of court proceedings. The artist should consider the appropriate traditional decorum of courts for the design.
