Hannah Wolf: PINK DAZE at the COVE

PINK DAZE
Friday, November 29th – 6-9pm Opening Reception
Saturday, November 30th – 1-3pm & 6-9pm
Sunday, December 1st, by appointment

Pink Daze explores artist Hannah Wolf’s upbringing by taking images, schoolwork and journal entries from her childhood along with a collection of objects found in Texas and drawing a connection between them.  Wolf explores this through deconstructing these images and reducing information to simple lines and shapes, conveying them through mid-size paintings with acrylic, charcoal, and graphite.  Wolf, a native of McKinney, recently received her BFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design.  She lives and works in Dallas, and serves on the Board of the Arts and Music Guild.
The Cove will be closed during the month of December.  Member artists will be bringing in new works, and The Cove will be dazzling by the first show in January 2020, an exhibit presented by Lynne Hubner opening the weekend of January 10th.  See the complete 2020 Exhibition schedule at http://www.thecovemckinney.com.
