EXPLORING MIXED MEDIA
The Upstairs Gallery is offering a new class on selected Saturday mornings. Lynne Buchanan exhibits at the gallery and uses her skills as a contemporary artist to teach this new class. Lynne will
show you how to “think outside the box” using the materials and techniques that will in themselves inspire exciting contemporary artworks. Visit THE UPSTAIRS GALLERY website to see a complete list of supplies. Lynne will bring a sack of beautiful paper to supplement the materials you bring to class. Call the gallery to hold a place in the Oct. 12 class.
DATES: Oct. 12. Nov. 9, 16. Friday: Dec. 6.
TIME: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (bring a snack)
FEE: $30 each class
SUPPLIES: Two (2) canvases, bring tubes or bottles of your favorite colors.
Primary colors work great! If you want to use gray or tan – Loews or Home Depot is a good
source for sample jars of paint. Brushes: ¼” – 1”. Matte medium or matte mod podge.
Lynn will furnish plastic bags for palettes. Bring papers for collage.
