This year marks the 93nd Anniversary of the founding of the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts. The Society was established in Dallas in 1926 at the home studio of artist Frank Reaugh, one of Texas’ most famous and influential artist. Inaugurated in 2013, Rising Star highlights 14 “Rising Star” artists nominated by 14 Dallas area art galleries. Join us in Underwriting one of Oak Cliff’s finest Art events and at the same time promoting undiscovered talent. Rising Star raises money in our continuing efforts to restore Turner House.
Tickets for Saturday evening may be purchased at the door or at www.turnerhouse.org. The exhibition will be free and open to the public on Sunday, September 15, 1:00pm-5:00pm. Turner House is located at 401 North Rosemont Avenue, Dallas, TX 75208.
