Plano Art Association
125 Show 2019,
at the Eisemann Center. Online entry deadline is
midnight, Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
The 125 Show 2019 is open to all artists living in a community within
125 miles of Plano. Judges will select the top 80 works
for display in the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Dr, Richardson, TX 75082. First, second, third and merit monetary prizes will be awarded in each of 3 categories (2D, 3D, and Photography) as well as a
Best of Show Award and a People’s Choice Award.
You may enter up to 3 works at $35 per work.

Awards
The
2-D, 3-D, and Photography categories will each be awarded a first place
($500), second place ($300), and third place ($150) award and
certificate. Best of Show will receive $1,000 and a certificate. A
special Peoples’ Choice Award will also be presented, along with
Certificates of Merit to the three finalists in each art genre category.

- The Plano Art Association does not handle shipping or pay shipping expenses. (Please contact PAA at [email protected] if you cannot pick up your artwork yourself, you will need to arrange for someone else to pick it up for you. You must notify PAA to inform us to whom we should release the art.
Entry Requirements
For Non-PAA Members, the125 SHOW 2018 Entry Fee : $35.00 2nd and/or 3rd Piece Fee: $35.00 each per piece over one piece
For PAA Members, the entry fee is discounted 25% with the coupon code PAA2019,
which covers entry fee and the first work you enter. The same 25%
discounted rate is available to PAA members via the coupon code for the
second and third work you enter. Remember members must enter the coupon
code PAA2019 for each entry submitted.

Artwork Requirements
Three Categories 2-D Artwork (Two-Dimensional Artworks)
3-D Artworks (Three-Dimensional Artworks)
Photography (Traditional & Digital)
Sizes 3-dimension works must be able to fit through a standard doorway;
2D and Photography frame size: must not exceed 48″ in width. (Please contact PAA at [email protected] if you have an exception to discuss.)
Hanging
All wall-hanging works must be wired with D-rings, ready to hang.
The gallery is unable to accept or hang works not so equipped such as
with saw tooth hangers. Each piece must be labeled with the name of the
artist and title of the work.
Miscellaneous Submitted artwork must be original and not entered in a previous 125 Show.
All work that is submitted and hung in the show must remain in the
exhibit until the exhibit ends, and art is scheduled to be picked up. NO EXECPTIONS.
Works must not be copies of another artist’s work (including photographs).
PAA reserves the right to reject any work not meeting
eligibility requirements or deemed inappropriate to hang in the gallery,
even after the image has been accepted by jurors and delivered to the
gallery.
Sales If your
exhibited work is available for sale, identify the price. For insurance
purposes, identify the value of your exhibited work whether it is for
sale or not. All sales from this show will be handled through the Plano
Art Association. A commission of 30% will be retained by the Plano Art
Association.
