TVAA Gallery Art Exhibition for September 2019
With the golden Pegasus
as its centerpiece, TVAA presents Precious Metals – an exhibition
celebrating the magic created when metallic paint meets canvas. Embrace
the flow of metallic paints. Challenge the eye with the light-refractive
beauty of glitter and leaf. Let your art shine! This show is open to all mediums of work, all sizes, and any subject.
ELIGIBILITY: This is open to members and non-members of TVAA (Texas Visual Artists Association) with ribbons being awarded to Best of Show, 1st, 2nd 3rd place, and honorable mention. Cash awards for Best in Show and 1st place!
CALENDAR:
Submission Deadline: Friday, August 16th@ midnight
Acceptance Notification: Friday, August 22nd
Deliver artwork: Saturday, September 7th from 10-2pm,
Exhibit Open to the Public: During Gallery business hours; Tuesday-Sat
Reception: Saturday, September 14th from 4-6pm,
Pick up artwork: Saturday, October 5th from 10-2pm,

REQUIREMENTS: 2D work must not be taller than 36” and weigh less than 30 pounds.All artwork must be wired correctly with D-rings. No ½” canvases will be curated without a frame. Gallery wrapped work must have clean edges and no staples showing. Work that does not follow gallery requirements will not be hung. If invited to the exhibition you must sign up for one sitting day during the month or pay a $35.00 sitting fee for someone to cover your day. Any work not picked up on take down day with be stored for a $5.00 a day fee and then considered abandoned after 30 days. Any artwork sold pays a 25% fee to the TVAA.
Fees must be paid at the time of submission via the online form. $30.00 for up to 3 images for Members and $45.00 for up to 3 images for Non-Members. Please submit up to three entries (jpgs at 72 dpi and no longer than 1800 pixels on the longest side).
