On Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 2pm-2am, “Celebrate Life,” a group art exhibit featuring a variety of visual styles will be held at Deep Ellum Art Company, 3200 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75226. Visitors wishing to purchase any artworks shown at this exhibit may do so anytime during this one-day-only event.
This one-day-only, family friendly exhibit features a diverse group of artists and photographers, including Arielle Gonzales, Patricia Rodriguez, Suza Kanon, Levi Hollandsworth, Michael Lagocki, Seana Saxon, Modesto J Aceves, Al Apodaca (also known as LegendaryArts), Misty Amber Moore, Christy Jedigoddess, Sam Bortnick and Suzi Migdol.
Visual artists will show pieces made with resins, woven fiber, repurposed/recycled materials, mixed media, and prismatic enamels, as well as a selection of more traditional artworks, including framed photographs, acrylic and oil paintings. We’ll also auction off some original Dragonball Z artwork signed by popular voiceover artist Eric Vale!
This one-day-only event has something everyone in the family can enjoy: face-painting from Harmony Bays, uplifting spoken-word poetry readings hosted by Opalina Salas, music from funk-band favorites Electrik Ants and Funk You on the indoor stage as well as DJs Josh Kynd, Mic Most, Grin Music’s Demarkus Lewis and others spinning outside. Show up from 2pm-6pm so kids can snap photos with Rancho Condarco’s adorable baby unicorn and sacred mini-cow! The SoCal Tacos food truck will also be on-site with Cali-style eats available for purchase.
Each donated item sold during this event will to towards benefiting visual artist, published poet and sign-language interpreter Misty Amber Moore’s fight to beat cancer.
