CADD Bus Tour Dec. 1

CONTEMPORARY ART DEALERS OF DALLAS presents
CADD BUS TOUR
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2018
11 AM to 3 PM

Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas is excited to announce the next installment of its popular Bus Tour program. Initiated in 2010, the series of tours offers participants unique access to a number of the Dallas area’s most esteemed sites for contemporary art, all in an afternoon. Previous Bus Tours have included visits to the collection of Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium, the homes of private collectors, and the creative centers of our city’s own artist’s studios. Best of all, guests are transported to each location on a private, luxury bus.
The December 1st Bus Tour will be hosted by CADD member galleries Ro2 Art, Craighead Green Gallery, and Galleri Urbane. The day will commence at Ro2 Art in the vibrant Cedars neighborhood where exhibitions by Julie Libersat and Julon Pinkston will be on view. From there, the group will travel to Dragon Street, a historic center of the Dallas gallery scene, to visit Craighead-Green Gallery for insight into their exhibitions by Peter Burega, Abhi Ghuge, and Anders Moseholm. Continuing on to Galleri Urbane at the north end of the Design District, guests will have the chance to see exhibitions by Gail Peter Borden & Loring Taoka as well as the gallery’s annual Gift Edit exhibition. Finally, the afternoon will conclude with a tour of the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, one of Dallas’ leading nonprofit arts organizations. Rachel Rogerson, Executive Director of The MAC, will discuss current exhibitions in their newly renovated exhibition space.
A progressive lunch & refreshments will be provided along the way!
Bus Tour tickets are $75.00 and can be purchased HERE!

CADD – Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas – is a non-profit membership organization of galleries formed in 2006 for the purpose of promoting the advancement of contemporary art on all levels. CADD’s members function as an important component of the Dallas art community, providing the means by which artists reach their public and collectors gain access to works of art. CADD includes the city’s foremost contemporary dealers who are experienced and knowledgeable in their field. Member galleries are committed to represent the highest standards of contemporary art, while recognizing the importance of integrity and responsibility in working with artists, collectors, museum professionals, and the cultural community of Dallas.

Each year CADD offers a Scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a Fine Arts degree at an accredited university or art institute. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, equipment, travel, and/or supplies assisting the student in their academic endeavors. Proceeds from CADD events assists with the CADD Scholarship and CADD Educational Programs.
