EXHIBIT WILL BE STAGED AT THE GALLERY @ COURTYARD
SEPTEMBER 21 – OCTOBER 26
ONLINE ENTRY DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13.
The exhibit will be held at The Gallery @ Courtyard featuring 2D artworks that reflect the universal language of art. It is part of the 2018 Plano International Festival. More than 20,000 people are forecast to attend the Festival. This show is a special opportunity for members of Plano Art Association. Because the theme is very broad, subject matter of your artwork is not limited to multicultural content. All artwork has within it a cultural flavor of its own. Family-friendly subject matter only.

- 9/27 – Saturday, Reception, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- 10/1 – Saturday, Plano International Festival, 10 am – 5 pm

- 10/29 – Artist Pick-up, 1:00p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
PARTICIPATION
* Members of Plano Art Association
* Artists who live in the Plano area and in North Texas
* Artists may submit up to three pieces of art. Acceptance will be
based on number of total submissions and space available for
exhibiting on a first-come, first-serve basis. Artists will be notified
of the pieces that can be exhibited. Exhibit space is limited to
approximately 60 pieces.
* Works must be two-dimensional only; no three-dimensional
pieces will be accepted. All works must be wired with eye-hooks
or D-rings with wire, ready to hang. WORKS WILL BE
REJECTED AT DROP-OFF IF THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY
PREPARED FOR HANGING.
* All works must have the artist’s name and title of the piece on a
note attached to the back of the artwork.

show. No exceptions for early removal.
AWARD
A Peoples’ Choice Award will be presented at the end of the reception. All attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite artwork.
ENTRY FEES
MEMBERS
Members may enter up to three pieces for a total fee of $10.
NONMEMBERS
Nonmembers may enter up to three pieces for a total fee of $20
ART SALES
Artwork that is sold during the exhibit will be subject to a 30% commission fee by Plano Art Association.
