You are invited to join the Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST), for a watercolor painting presentation and demo by Artist Randy Meador on Wednesday, October 4th at 6:45 pm at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 East Hickory Street, Denton, Texas.
Randy Meador is a celebrated Western Artist from Saint Jo, Texas. He is known for his stunning oil paintings, watercolor, and monument sculptures.
He says, “When you can create vibrant watercolor, you then have the ability to make quick, accurate, and confident decisions. When you paint decisively, you can do anything… and in any medium… including three dimensional.”He adds, “As a cowboy, I’ll forever be a greenhorn and I’m still a pretty sorry hand, but I hope I can fill a small role in telling part of the story that makes the American West touch something deep inside our collective psyche, that place where we are all cowboys.”
