 Zoomorphic & Humanistic InspirationsFriday, Feb. 24, 5-9 pm, Wine & Cheese Reception Saturday, Feb. 25, 5-9 pm, Wine, Cheese & More Reception Sunday, Feb. 26, 1-3 pm, Mimosa Reception and Raffle Drawing North Dallas-based artist Jose Angel Hernandez understands the human-animal bond. He has assembled an art exhibit and sale of human and animal portraits with philosophical messages and 3D elements. Jose’s mission as an artist is to create meaningful, interactive, playful art that evokes conversation. Participate in a photo opportunity and a free raffle for a chance to win one of Jose’s original artworks.  Ducks in a Row?Friday, March 3: 7-9 pm Saturday, March 4: 6-9 pm Artist Kelly E. Marra explores controlled chaos in her current work. Kelly relates to this theme personally and feels that with ADD, there are times when she is able to hyper-focus and other times she finds herself in a room not knowing why she went in there. Her current work is a snapshot of what is going on in her brain and features the juxtaposition of geometric and organic elements. Having recently completed her masters in learning technologies, Kelly has recreated pieces initially conceived in virtual reality, believing virtual reality can be used to teach and inspire in unconventional ways.  Winter at the Water’s EdgeFriday, March 10: 6-9 pm Saturday, March 11: 5-9 pm Darby LaGrave opens a nature dialogue with poetic paintings that offer glimpses of the countryside. Illustrated moments in nature are created to invite the viewer to rest with the lyrical movement of the grasses and the whispered secrets of the water’s edge.  Art Club of McKinney Member ShowFriday, March 17: 5-9 pm Saturday, March 18: 5-9 pm The Art Club of McKinney welcomes the public to the annual Member Art Show. On display will be the various works that the club’s creative and talented members have submitted, both 2D and 3D, in a wide variety of media.
