The Pearce Museum at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas is pleased to host their annual partnered show with the Western Artists Roundup from September 12 – October 12, 2022. The six-artist group’s work, covering mediums from acrylics to watercolors, focuses on depicting the American West through all the good and the bad stories that take place. Much of the artwork on display is available for purchase from the artists.
Now in its third year, the Western Artist Roundup have become a regular fixture at the Pearce Museum. All six practicing artists embody the traits of our Western Art gallery, with each of their works telling different stories that help continue traditions of the American West. This year, the Navarro College Art Department is partnering with the group to organize student workshops to foster the next generation. Their efforts in
and out of the gallery show why the museum’s partnership with the Western Artist Roundup is so popular as it continues to lead to new opportunities for the art world to grow just as Charles and Peggy Pearce set out to do back in 2003.
Join us as we celebrate these premier western artists. The Pearce Museum will host a closing reception honoring the artists on Wednesday, Oct 12th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The exhibition is available to view Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays, noon – 4:00 p.m. A digital catalogue is available for to view before visiting at https://online.fliphtml5.com/iidfz/jcnw/#p=1
