Oak Cliff Film Festival Announces 2022 Program June 23-26

OAK CLIFF FILM FESTIVAL RETURNS
Your Cinema Super Friends at the Oak Cliff Film Festival are back for their 11th year at the historic Texas Theatre and other prominent venues in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhoods on June 23-26.

This year’s packed four day super event will include the Texas Premiere of BUTTERFLY IN THE SKY; which chronicles the creation and social impact of the series Reading Rainbow (with a DJ set by film score composer The Octopus Project). Jacks Haupt will perform preceding the Texas premiere of the much anticipated documentary MIJA, which features the Oak Cliff native singer. We also have the DFW premieres of the imaginative comedy/ drama LINOLEUM (starring Jim Gaffigan) and closing night; the hilarious cringe comedy I LOVE MY DAD (starring Patton Oswalt). Plus, the experiential, sensory documentary 32 SOUNDS and the hilarious CHOP AND STEELE (which includes a live performance from The Found Footage Film Festival). We hope you’re as excited as we are to meet super friends and befriend our super-films!
