A Journey in Color and Line: Drawing the Metroplex

This exhibition features sketchbooks, drawings, and other works on paper that are the results of sketching done on location throughout the metroplex by the group Artists Out & About DFW.
Drawn together by the desire to explore the area and record their impressions on the spot, the group has bonded through the practice of making art, documenting their experiences, and creating visual diaries. Locations range from the offbeat to well-known and iconic sights of the Metroplex.
In connection with the exhibition, there will be a sketchbook workshop Saturday, May 14 from 2-4 pm at the Bath House Cultural Center for those interested in exploring a sketching practice of their own.
