One day will be spent focusing on achieving depth in landscapes. We will mix a variety of greens from the foreground to the background emphasizing a “misty depth” in a landscape. The other day will be spent on painting a floral in watercolor. Supply list and reference photos will be supplied before the workshop. Also, we will learn a very fun way for a watercolorist to do a small “plan” before each painting – very important! We will learn how to achieve our goals of just what we want to convey – not just painting a scene or a flower. It is my hope that you will take away from these two days some things you will use the rest of your life.
