The Great Texas Curatorial Wander: A special visit to the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, with a behind-the-scenes view at important early Texas artworks by women artists.
Featuring a guest appearance from Michael Grauer, commenting on the importance of Women in Early Texas Art.
On Sunday, June 20 at 2 PM (Central time) we will present a special visit of the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts introduced by Bekah Coleman, the Museum’s Education coordinator with a behind the scenes view of important early Texas artworks by women artists – presented by Assistant Director and Collections Manager Laura Huckaby. Featuring guest appearance by Michael Grauer, McCasland Chair of Cowboy Culture and Curator of Cowboy Collections and Western Art.
This program will be the third installment of the Great Texas Curatorial Wander, a series of glimpses into the vaults of museums created especially for Caseta members. We believe you will find this 30 minute program to be insightful and entertaining.
