Hello from The Cedars Union! We write to you healthy and well and hope the same for you. We’d like to remind you that The Cedars Union is continuing to act with caution and care as we operate our mission of shared space and community. We appreciate everyones continued support and enthusiasm as we live masked, online, and with an unusual amount of personal space. During a month devoted to gratitude, we couldn’t be more thankful for our CU artists and community. THANK YOU. |
It was great seeing some of your faces at last weekend’s Cedars Open Studios. Though the Studio Hall wasn’t abuzz with 500+ visitors, we had a casual and spacious parking lot reception, ending the day with 112 visitors to see artwork installed by eight CU artists from Cohort 2. We’d like to commend all of the artists that edged outside of their comfort zone to adapt to a new space and environment. Did you miss last week’s webinar from Darryl Ratcliff on artist grants? You can view the recording of the session right here on our YouTube page. Though all of our virtual, pandemic era programming has been free we’ll be hosting our first paid workshop on December 18th, Happy Little Clouds. Read below for more details on this Bob Ross style program, and thanks in advance for supporting The Cedars Union so we can pay fair wages to our creative speakers. |
