Alla prima or wet-on-wet is a painting technique in which layers of wet paint are applied to previously administered layers of wet paint. By the end of the workshop you will have completed a painting of a human figure on a 16” x 20” canvas. Please bring to the workshop some photo references to choose from.
In this workshop you will practice composition, quick sketch, painting shapes, mixing oil colors, fusion of tones or colors is achieved hard and soft lines and more. All levels are welcome. Great workshop for beginners. Spanish speaker are welcomed.
Classes & workshops are conducted in a Safe environment – We will be observing quarantine measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, and anti-infection procedures. Registration will be required for our art activities, and class size will be limited to 10 people. No drop-ins.
