Mike Porter Has been teaching Hollywood mask making techniques for year and has worked with the WETA folks in New Zealand, at his Specialized School called SkillTree NZ (https://www.facebook.com/skilltreenz/) creating amazing masks and props! Mike is currently a Professor at SMU Guildhall.
This 2 day workshop is perfect for getting a clear understanding of materials and processes on sculpting, mold making and casting. The techniques you will learn will allow you to create beautiful or ghoulish pieces that you can cast over and over again. You will find a variety of techniques that will be taught can be used for many different art and craft ideas. In this 2 Day Workshop you will sculpt, create a mold from you sculpture, make a cast from the mold that is ready to paint!
