The Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at The University of Texas at Austin and its partners (Texas Health and Human Services Commission & Texas System of Care) just launched the 2020 Texas Mental Health Creative Arts Contest, open now through March 1, 2020. Entry is FREE!
The Texas Mental Health Creative Arts Contest shines a light on an often-overlooked topic and shows why mental health matters. To educate people about how common mental illnesses are and to encourage Texans to seek help when they need it, our yearly themes reflect the move toward treating mental illness with the same openness as other illnesses.
This annual contest is open to Texans of all ages, separated in to four age groups (elementary, middle school, high school, and adults) with three entry categories (original artwork, writing, and photography). Enter at https://gallery.txsystemofcare.org/submit/
