Public Art Dedication at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center Dec. 6

Untitled (Plinths), a series of three cast-concrete sculptures by local artist Kris Pierce, is the latest commissioned artwork to be added to the City of Fort Worth’s Public Art Collection. Permanently sited at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, the artwork is inspired by the building’s architecture, which was designed by Herbert Bayer, an artist and seminal member of the Bauhaus school. Moving forward, these plinths will serve as pedestals for temporary exhibition of sculptures to be programmed by the Arts Council.

Join us at the dedication of Untitled (Plinths) on Friday, December 6, 2019at 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. After the dedication, join the Arts Center for the Collective Takeover of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center from 6 – 9 p.m.
