Description:
Fiber art is an interesting medium that consists of natural and/or synthetic materials, such as fabric or yarn. It has a primary focus on the manual labor of the artist and his/her hand in the craft of the work. The medium can be used for utility or aesthetic purposes.
Crochet Concepts will explore basic crochet stitches and techniques through demonstrations and hands-on art-making. Students will be encouraged to play with color and experiment with the medium to create functional and conceptual pieces of art.
