Zakehia continues her introduction to acrylics in this series of classes.
Each
student is strongly encouraged to sign up for, and attend all four
classes as each class topic and activity will be based on information
from the preceding class. Registration is limited to 15 students per
class, so please be sure that you can commit for the entire month of
classes.
About the instructor: Zakehia Uscanga

The Artist was born in Mexico and start painting since an early age, winning her first National Paint Contest in 1983. Zakehia
was part of the exhibition “La Victoria del Arte” directed by the Cuban
professor Jose Montalvo in collaboration with a Tamaulipas’ Government
Program in 2001.
An arts advocate artist that has exhibit on
several non-profit organizations and exhibitions in Texas since 2010 as
Museum of Geometric and MADI Art (2010-2012), AEM (Golf Exhibition
2014), Irving Art Association (2014, 2015), DECET (since 2013), Avance
(2014), NTLAPA (2013-2016), Mi Escuelita (2014, 2015), Safe
Conversations (Dragon Gallery 2016), Multicultural Cinco de Mayo DECET
(IAA 2019) and more.
