Ro2 Art is proud to present Spangled, a solo exhibition
featuring new works by artist Alexander Revier. The show will run from
July 2 through August 19, 2019. There will be an artist reception held
on Thursday, July 11 from 7-10 PM at the Second floor bar of the Magnolia Theatre located at 3699 McKinney Avenue, Suite 100, Dallas TX 75204.
Alexander Revier’s second solo show at Ro2 Art focuses predominantly on
color and form, saturating the entire picture plane with a miscellany
of elements. Drawing upon his experience growing up as a
second-generation German immigrant living in Irving, Texas, absorbing
the influences and language of the diverse cultural makeup, Revier is
interested in how visual art exists as a universal language. Spangled
becomes a metaphor for diversity as the artist amalgamates and mingles
unexpected elements, color and design together in a lively maximalist
assemblage.
