Description:
Wayne Thiebaud’s colorful artwork of everyday objects—like sweet bakery treats—has inspired this one-day printmaking workshop. Participants will learn basic printmaking techniques and create a fun and colorful edition of five to seven, 4 x 6-inch hand-pressed prints. Each student will receive a treat from a local bakery to draw from life and make their prints!
Participants are invited to do a print trade at the end of the workshop and donate a print to the Art Room Collection.
The workshop is open to the public—age 16 & up. No experience is necessary. All supplies are included.
