The Bath House Cultural Center celebrates the 25th Anniversary of its annual El Corazón exhibition in 2019. We join the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs and many others in saluting and congratulating not only the artists who are featured in the anniversary show, but also the hundreds of artists who have shared their work with our public in previous exhibitions. We particularly extend our congratulations to Jose Vargas, the exhibition curator, on this joyful and memorable occasion, and we praise and appreciate his untiring dedication to making the exhibition a great success year after year.
El
Corazón is a passionate and eclectic exhibition that features a variety
of ideas, styles, and concepts inspired by the heart (El Corazón), an
important and universal symbol in art. El Corazón has been presented at
the Bath House Cultural Center every year since 1993 (with the
exception of one year when the center was being renovated). From the
very beginning, the exhibition has sparked the interest and inspiration
in many artists. This year, close to seventy local, national and
international artists are participating in the commemorative
exhibition.
