“I design my work to be declarative and intentional with no happenstance to complicate the work. My works are intended to make you look, look again, and then ask questions.”
-Marshall Harris
The Fort Worth Community Arts Center in association with Fort Works Art is proud to announce an artist talk by Marshall Harris.
As part of the Arts Center’s Cultura del Vaquero program, Harris’ work is currently on view in his exhibition, I Wanna Be A Cowboy, from January 4 to February 20, 2019. This exhibition features original graphite on mylar drawings and limited edition prints of meticulously detailed objects including several renderings of ornate Western saddles.
From January 15 to February 15, 2019, a raffle to benefit the Arts Center will be held for a chance to own a signed artist proof by Harris. Tickets are $5 each. The lucky winner will take home a print of M.L. Leddy Saddle which is valued at $1,500 retail price.
This event is free and open to the public. The artist talk will start at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019.
