Winners of the Lake Granbury Art Association 2018 Fall Festival of the Art Show/Sale were announced last Saturday October 13, during the Awards Reception at the Shanley House Center of the Arts Gallery. The address of the Gallery is 224 N Travis by the Hood County Library. The show will run through November 9th and is open for viewing Fridays and Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sundays 1:00-4:00. The show was judged by Lundy Benson. He grew up with an early appreciation of the land, the animals and the people who worked the ranches. The love of the western experience flows through his paintings. His artist father encouraged his interest in art and Benson began a career in illustration. Benson is an award winning artist and judge whose clients include Stetson Hats, Lockheed Martin, Ranching Heritage Center and the University of Texas.
