The Artists Showplace Gallery is excited to host a unique art event blending Chinese and American (Texan) culture. Sponsored by the Dallas Chinese Art Association, the exhibit, which runs from Friday, September 7 through Saturday, September 29, will highlight the work of both Chinese and local American artists. The opening reception is Friday, September 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will feature Chinese music, dancing and refreshments. On display will be Chinese calligraphy, traditional landscapes and contemporary work.
